Well, talking about "abilities" and "talents", I would define them respectively as, the mental, physical power or skill needed to do something, and, a special natural ability to do something well, especially without being taught. In my opinion, I feel that "exams" are to note how well the particular student understands about the subject.
I would agree with the given Rubric, that examinations are inaccurate indications of one's abilities and talents.
Firstly, abilities and talents are not within one's control and that having the aptitude do not necessarily guarantee high examination scores. Making use of examinations to determine the capability that one possesses is inaccurate and biased as one may not be talented in academic based but however showing an aptitude in perhaps music or the arts.
Therefore, people might misinterpret and start labeling students who did not do well.It is a prejudice act to label someone as "intelligent" or "unintelligent" according to exams results.
Secondly, the result of the theory test may be inaccurate due to unfortunate circumstances. For instance, the candidate might be in poor health on that particular day which prevented him or her from scoring to the best of his or her abilities.
Thirdly, exams are to observe how well the student is able to understand the particular subject and not to indicate how capable and talented the candidate might be. Furthermore, being able to understand the subject takes more than talents and capabilities. It takes a lot of hard work and determination.
However, there is no reason why a student is unable to score well if he or she has the ability, the hard work and the determination.
In conclusion, I believe that examinations are not clear indication of one's abilities and talents due to one being talented in other forms instead in academic and unfortunate circumstances.
I HATE it when it rains, I HATE to be caught in the rain, I HATE to bring umbrella to school especially on rainy days.
The rain makes me blue. The rain makes me miserable.
The rain makes me sad.
Raining means staying indoors. Raining means being bored at home.
It had been raining for days now and it never seems to end. Endless water keeps pouring down from the dark skies.
My dear little sister screaming every time she sees lighting and hears thunder. My mum hurrying to collect all laundries before it all get drenched in the rain. My dad, working with his computer when it’s raining, was trying to ignore all the thunder and screams. I keep increasing the volume of the television attempting to hear what is going on in the television.
It annoys me when it rains. It causes inconvenience for me. There was once when the rain flooded Mandai Road and affected the bus service which affected me because I was running late for tuition.
However, I LOVE it when it rains at night. It cools down the temperature and makes it easier for me to go to sleep. Hearing the rain go “split splat, split splat, pitter patter, pitter patter” makes me feel warm and comfortable. The weather is so cooling when it rains.
Rain reminds me of Rain. And I hate Rain, Rain as in that Korean singer, Rain.
people often get started by telling their names and ages when they were asked to introduce themself, but i, on the other hand shall start with my hobbies.

i was in class 2E7 before being posted to 3E9. the subjects that i'm taking are English, Chinese, E-math, A-math, Phy-Chem, Literature and Art. however, the subjects that i really like are English, E-math, A-math, Phy-Chem, Literature and History. and if you had noticed, i didn't choose history but instead i chosed literature because in my opnion, Literature will help improve my english. Learning Chinese and Art had always been tough for me as i am not very inrested in both subjects though i can speak Mandrine relatively well.
Moving on to Seconday Three is a new expreience for me. i had been together with my previous classmates in Yishun Secondary for two whole years and being seperated from them makes me miss then alot. but most fortunately, my best friend, Asyiqin(the malay girl in my display photo) and i are both in class 3E9. she had always been supportive, a good friend and i love her. she is caring, hillarious and sweet. we might not be always together, during recess or maybe in the toilets, but we are definately besties.
i have a great man for a dad and he is fantastic. he had always been understanding and he tries to comprimise with me whenever i have mood swings which i often get them.-so does Syiq-
